how do you get a stripped nut off of a battery terminal?

I have a '96 sentra and am attempting to remove the battery, but the nut on the constructive terminal is stripped and appears nearly to be fused to the bolt. I've already tried cleansing the terminals and oiling the nut and bolt, but the element nonetheless won't flip. What do I do now?

position a few liquid wrench on it and us vise grip. If which you could get off with vise grips that you would be able to place chanel locks on the end of the vice grip for a whole lot more leverage.
