Battery Cable Cutter
Question for firefighters...?
What tools do you keep it up/in your turnouts, and why? I even have 2 door wedges on my helmet, a Husky razor/application knife (razer on 1 conclude, knife on the alternative) that turns out to be useful on car or truck wrecks trigger the razor is simpler to get out than a seat belt cutter and cuts it like butter, and a pair of lineman's pliers for battery cables in most cases. I preserve the knife in my left coat pocket, and the pliers in my most excellent coat pocket. By means of no means cared for instrument belts. I believe they appear silly, and most men and women that wear them raise much greater instruments than they wish. Your not there to fix their water heater, you recognize what I suggest? What about you guys?
I lift 30' of rope and a caribener in my left pant pocket for bail-outs and RIT. In my most appropriate pant pocket I raise cable cutters for all kinds of twine, 30' webbing for a rescue sling, three' prussic twine, multi-plier software, rescue hammer, & a flashlight. Appropriate coat pocket extrication gloves, left coat pocket 30' rope & caribener. I put on a truck man's belt with two caribeners and a rescue wrench and human being halligan. I elevate a Circulation-light at the out of doors of my jacket & on my helmet I have ESS goggles, 4 wedges, & a Garrity gentle. All my equipment is for self preservation, RIT, and rescue.
